Nicholls Good Food Corner Store Launch Event

We had beautiful weather and a great turnout for our event celebrating the launch of Nicholls General Store as a Good Food Corner Store. We partnered with Sustain West Carleton and Ottawa Public Health to provide visitors with some delicious samples of healthy local food and to spread the word about this initiative and others being worked on by our different organizations. Archie's food truck prepared an unforgettable local food platter, including lamb burgers using Our Farm CSA's lamb with salad and chips from Heart Beet Farm's vegetables.

It was great to see all of the healthy food baskets inside if Nicholls. If you're in the area and need some staples, let them be your first stop!
